What does your life time guarantee include?
Our lifetime guarantee includes all necessary maintenance procedures required for your jewelry.  This includes everything necessary to make your jewelry look as beautiful as it did when you bought it.

What is your refund policy?
We offer a 30 days exchange on stock items only and 14 days return on stock items only with no alternations.

In-stock merchandise can be exchange, store credit or returned within the 30 days of the receipt date. Note that all pieces must not show signs of wear, sizing or any alterations. All original documents must be present.

What is your refund policy on custom-designed pieces?
Custom-designed jewelry is unique and made especially for you, therefore we are unable to refund custom orders.

We show you wax design before going to the next phase. From beginning to end you’ll be very much involved with the process to feel confident your jewelry piece will be special. If for any reason you still do not like the piece, we can do a store credit or exchange.


Can you make custom designs?
Absolutely.  CA Jewelers has an in-house design and manufacturing department specific, which can make any design you come up with.  Please contact our design team for a consultation.

Can I see a model of my custom designed jewelry, before you make it?
We will provide you with a hand-carved wax prototype of your custom designed piece.  From this process, you will get an approximate idea as to what your jewelry will look like.   At this time you will also have an opportunity to make changes to your design.

How long does it take to custom design a piece?
The time table for custom designed jewelry varies depending on the complexity of the design.  Unlike other stores, CA Jewelers has an in-house design and manufacturing department.  This enables us to be more efficient while having complete control of the entire process.  Please contact our design team with your custom design for a specific time line.

Where do you get your diamonds?
We carefully hand select our loose stones from only the highest-quality diamond importers around the world.  We only buy diamonds from conflict free sources.

Are your diamonds conflict free?
Yes, conflict diamonds is a very important issue for us and we take all precautions to ensure that we only carry conflict free diamonds.

Do you have a certified gemologist on site?
Yes, we have a gemologist certified through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) on hand to answer all your questions.

Do you manufacture your own jewelry?
Yes. We have a comprehensive manufacturing department that produces our jewelry. 

Do you repair jewelry?
Yes. Large or small we have a full repair department that can handle any repairs you may have.

Our shop has over 10 employees working on jewelry design and repairs. Most of the work can be finished within a week. We have a state of the art laser welding machine that repairs old jewelry to life.


How do I check on the process of my order?
You can check your order at any time by calling us.  We’ll research your order and let you know what stage of the process it is at.

What size is my finger or my fiancés finger?
The best way would be to get sized at a jewelry store; it should be a free service.

Do I have to pay for taxes for out of state orders?
No. By law CA Jewelers is only required to collect taxes when sales are conducted within the state of Illinois.

What if the size of the ring is wrong?
No problem, we will resize your ring for free.

Do you offer Financing?
Yes we do.  There are many financing programs available. 

Do you ship out of state?
Yes, we provide 100% fully insured UPS and FEDEX.

Is my jewelry/ring insured during shipment?
Yes, your ring is insured from the time it leaves our store until you sign for your package. If you would like to insure it further please contact us and we’ll help you get it set up.

Will you deliver on Saturdays?
Yes we offer Saturday delivery to most areas at an extra charge. We send the package via UPS or FedEx with signature required.

Will the delivery ruin the surprise?
No. All our packages are in plain UPS boxes with no limited details on the packaging. The labels are very discreet and never use the words, diamonds, gems or jewelers.

Can you laser inscribe my ring for me?
Yes, we are one of only a few stores that have a laser machine in house.

Can you take pictures of my ring for me?
Sure we can.  Just let us know when you are ordering your jewelry.

Can you inscribe my ring?
Yes we can inscribe almost anything on your ring, such as initials, dates, quotes, and more. Just let us know when you are ordering.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, check, credit card, and wire transfer. Checks need to have  4-5 business days to clear. Wire transfer within 1 to 2 days.
